Bahiravokanda Vihara Buddha Statue
This place shows a breathtaking view of the entire Kandy city. The 88-feet tall Buddha statue is a must-see in Kandy. The white statue can be seen from any part of Peradeniya city as it is strategically located on the top of Bhairava Kanda (Devil's) hill.
You can climb the stairs to reach the viewing point or hire a tuk-tuk to do so. The beauty of the idol is doubled by lighting the lamps at night. The best hours to visit this place are in the morning or after sunset. This place should definitely be on your list of places to visit in Sri Lanka.
